Scooter riding and skatepark use are inherently dangerous activities and carry a risk of serious injury, permanent injury and, in extreme circumstances, death.
Smith & Feeble products are designed for their intended purpose but cannot make scooter riding or skatepark use safe. Riders must understand and accept the inherent risks associated with riding, tricks, jumps, ramps, obstacles, collisions, falls and interaction with other riders.
Riders are responsible for assessing their own ability, the condition of their equipment and the suitability of the location before riding.
Never use damaged, worn or improperly installed equipment. Products should be regularly inspected and maintained, and any component showing signs of damage, excessive wear or failure should be replaced immediately.
Appropriate protective equipment should be worn, including a helmet and other protective equipment appropriate to the rider and activity.
Smith & Feeble products must not be modified or used outside their intended purpose or stated specifications. Damage caused by crashes, impacts, misuse, improper installation, modification, neglect, excessive force or normal wear and tear is not a manufacturing defect.
Skateparks are shared environments. Riders must follow the rules of the facility, respect other users and never attempt tricks or manoeuvres beyond their ability.
Smith & Feeble accepts no responsibility for injury, loss or damage arising from the inherent risks of scooter riding or skatepark use except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing in this notice excludes or limits any statutory rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law.
By purchasing or using Smith & Feeble products, you acknowledge that scooter riding and skatepark use involve inherent risks and that you are responsible for using the products safely and appropriately.
